The Union of Orthodox Rabbis

Rav Mordechai Pinchos Teitz (1908-1995) was the Rov of Elizabeth, NJ and a student of the famed Rogachaver Ilui. Rav Teitz was famous for his broadcast on American Radio in Yiddish on Motzei Shabbos .

This is a decision document of The Union of Orthodox Rabbis from 1945 signed by three illustrious Rabbis of the time – R’ Yisroel Levi Rosenberg (who later ran the Orthodox Union), R’ Yehuda Leib Seltzer and R’ Yosef Eliyahu Henkin (who ran Ezras Torah). The decision resolved a dispute about who would have Kashruth supervision over a kosher slaughtering operation in Newark, New Jersey.
